Race Furniture

Industry: Auditorium & Education Seating

Focus: Brand Visibility, Storytelling & Commercial Growth from the Ground Up

The Brief in Brief: Moving a respected British seating manufacturer from fragmented, reactive marketing into a commercially progressive, visible brand, building the digital presence, storytelling and growth infrastructure to match the quality of the product.

The Challenge vs. The Approach

The Challenge

Race Furniture had a strong legacy and respected reputation within the education and auditorium seating sector, but the brand lacked modern visibility, consistent marketing activity and a strong commercial growth engine.

Marketing was reactive rather than proactive, and there was limited integration between marketing, sales and product messaging. The business needed stronger storytelling, better digital infrastructure and a more commercially progressive brand presence to match the quality and heritage of its products.

The Approach

Formation began by understanding the Race brand, market position and customer audiences before helping reshape the marketing approach into something more strategic, commercially focused and consistent.

The focus was on moving Race from fragmented activity into an active, visible brand presence, building the infrastructure, campaigns and storytelling that could support sales, engage dealers and specifiers, and position Race as a design-aware, commercially progressive manufacturer.

Modernising the Digital Presence

Formation moved Race from a fragmented marketing approach into a connected, commercially aligned brand engine, building the positioning, digital infrastructure and campaigns needed to drive real visibility across the education and auditorium seating market.
